Tithing is giving the Lord a portion of your money to use for the benefit of the Body of Christ. The Bible tells us when we bring our "first fruits" offerings, or our very first portion of our wealth, into the temple, we should provide a 10th of our earnings from 'off the top," This is what the word "tithe" actually means. A 10th. This portion was to show their dependence on God, their trust in His provision, and allowed for the care and maintenance of their place of worship and those who took care of it; the priests, the ministers, and the workers. This is for us today, as well. When we give our tithes, we are worshiping Him, acknowledging our dependence upon His goodness, trusting in His provision and taking care of the building/workers of our place of worship.
Our New Life needs financial support from those who call it their home to function on a daily basis and provide for the people He placed here to lead it.
And offering above and beyond tithing (or 10%) is called an offering. These offerings are given out of love, devotion and obedience to the Holy Spirit. This could support a missionary in need, a ministry that needs extra funds, a gift to the church, a lack of giving from others, or because you want to bless someone.
New Life Christian Fellowship continues to grow and there will always be areas of ministry that could benefit from your faithful giving of tithes and offerings. We now have online donations available, click "make a donation" button above. You can also donate by mail, in the service offerings, or whenever the office is open.

"Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work." 2 Corin 9:7-8 (NIV)
"Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” Luke 6:38 (NIV)
